Nuno Sarmento (1996) is a visual artist and architect from Porto, currently based in Zürich. His work revolves around Drawing and seeks to occupy the space in between the fields of Art and Architecture.

Currently exploring the themes of Light, Geometry and Essentiality, Nuno’s work tends to reflect and render visible the freedom and spontaneity of the hand-based architectural process, which assumes a central role in his practice.

Nuno has had his drawings featured in several magazines, music albums and singles, made live drawing performances, painted murals, designed menus, logos and posters and participated in collective and solo exhibitions. As an architect, he has worked for several years in Portuguese and Swiss offices, and has carried out his own projects, specially housing renovations.
